Negotiate Your Fare!

We’re excited to announce a new DODO Travel feature that gives you the flexibility to choose your trips. You’ll receive Travel trip requests the same way you receive Express requests, and you can also find them in the Trip Centre.

If you’re interested, offer your fare and “bid” according to the Base Fare set by the app. You can bid higher or lower—the choice is yours. Riders then pick their driver based on what best suits them. It’s a win-win!

With this new feature, you can offer what you want to earn and enjoy a low 10% Services Fee. This means higher earnings for successful bids with DODO Travel.

Check out trips as they pop up, or head to the Trip Centre in the Driver app to browse all available requests.

Offer Your Fare

Select a request and make a bid using the Base Fare provided by the app.

Wait for Your Rider

The rider will consider your offer against other drivers and choose which suits them best. Once a rider accepts your offer, the trip will start as usual.

What is this new feature?

Drivers have the flexibility to decide how much they’re willing to offer for a fare. Requests appear just like Express, or can be browsed in the Trip Centre.

How do I receive Travel requests?

Currently, DODO Travel is trialled in select cities. Eligible drivers receive requests the same way as Express, or can browse them in the Trip Centre.

How do I accept Travel trips?

View Travel trips in the Trip Centre, make an offer, and once accepted by the rider, the trip proceeds as usual.

Why is the base fare for Travel so low?

Base Fares are a starting point. Drivers can offer higher or lower prices as they see fit.

Why wasn’t the trip assigned to me?

Riders choose their driver based on price, arrival time, rating, or vehicle type. If not assigned, another bid was chosen.

Does DODO Travel affect my Acceptance Rate (AR) or Completion Rate (CR)?

Ignoring a Travel request does not affect AR. Cancelling after accepting affects CR as usual.

How can I tell if a trip is a DODO Travel trip?

Travel trips show multiple fare options, making them easy to identify.

When can I receive DODO Travel trips?

DODO Travel is available 24/7.

How do Cancellation Fees work?

Cancellation rules are the same as other services, with city-specific policies available in the Driver app.

Will my account be affected if a rider does not accept my offer?

No. If another offer is accepted, your account remains unaffected.

Why don’t I receive requests while waiting for a rider?

While an offer is pending, you can view but not accept other Travel requests.

Why wasn’t the fare adjusted when the trip took longer?

The agreed fare remains fixed regardless of trip duration or circumstances.
